2. Range Officer is final authority at Range. Always obey commands of the Range

3. Always keep firearm muzzle pointed downrange.
4. Uncase all firearms at the shooting station only.
5. Never load firearm until at shooting station and ready to fire. All firearms must
remain unloaded at all other times.
6. To demonstrate unloaded firearm, remove magazine (if possible) and all ammunition
from firearms, and leave bolt/chamber open.
7. During live fire on range, do not move in front of firing line for any reason.
8. Always fire with muzzle at or in front of firing line.
9. All non-shooters must remain behind yellow safety line.
10. Unless leaving the Range do not remove firearms from the shooting benches/area.
11. Only handle firearms during live fire.
12. Do not bring firearms to the Range until Range is under live fire or Range Officer
has given permission.
13. During cease fire:
a. stop all firing
b. keep muzzle pointed downrange
b. remove ammunition for firearm and open chamber
b. do not handle firearm
14. Do not advance downrange to target until Range Officer has given permission.
To ensure a fun and safe day at the Jackson Hole Gun Range, a few reminders:
Before beginning any activity, please sign in at the range office. The clipboard is located in the target closet on the door.
Please do not fire magnum ammunition or .454 Casull at any of the steel targets in the pistol bay, or .50 caliber at the steel targets on the rifle bay. Doing so damages the targets and makes them unavailable for use.
During non-public hours, please keep gate closed.

Shooter Education Building Update: Last Saturday we held a Range Improvement day. We completed the flooring inside, and got the deck started by framing the foundation. There were not enough members to complete the deck as planned, so if anyone could come and help finish it let the Range Master know and he will have a time convienent to your schedule. The interior of the SEB is almost complete. We have flooring, audio/visual, and cabinets installed. Still need to complete two doors, trim, and some electrical to finish.
IPSC holds the next match on August 16. IDPA matches occur on the first Tuesday and fourth Thursday of every month starting at 6 pm. IPSC holds matches on the third Saturday of every month. A small entry fee per gun used is charged. Anyone, members or non-members, of any skill level is welcome to participate.
Shotgun league has started and is held Tuesday nights beginning @ 6 pm. These are informal Trap and 5 Stand events and anyone of any skill level is welcome. If anyone wants to start a shooting event, please contact the Range Master. Currently the 5 Stand is used only for the league nights and Trap is used on the weekends. There is maintenence problems with the 5 Stand so anyone familiar with the equipment or RF please contact Range Master.
The Jackson Hole Gun Club is intersested in holding all types of shooting matches. Please contact the Range Master with your interests so we can develop shooting matches for all. Some ideas already put forth include a 1/4 mile shoot and .22 caliber Silhouette. If you would be interested in these or others please contact us.
The combination for the gate has changed as of May 1, 2008. Please contact Range Master for new combo if you are a member.
