June is the start of our summer season. Many activities begin, joining our regular schedule. Ladies Shotgun night begins Mondays at 6pm, Men's Shotgun on Wednesdays. You may join in at anytime, this is not a league or competition but just for fun and practice.
IDPA is moving to the 1st and 4th Wednesdays of every month. As always, anyone is welcome and all are encouraged if you are intersted in pistol shooting.
The 1/4 Mile shoot was much fun and laughter, with Matt Litzleman winning the match. Thanks to rule #9, all made it to the next stages. Thanks to Snake River Anglers, Rod Huskey, and Jack Dennis Sports for donating prizes.
Despite wet weather, the Appleseed weekend went well. A good turnout provided Natioanal instructors with plenty of teaching and all attendees appeared to learn a great deal about marksmanship. Thanks to the RWVA organization for their efforts in teaching this course.
The National Boy Scouts will be on the Range beginning this month. They will shoot Shotgun on Tuesdays and Thursdays, shoot pistols on Wednesdays and Fridays. Until the completion of the .22 bay, boy scouts will use the 4 benches on the left side of the range. Their activities do not close the range.
Our deck for the .22 bay is built. Thanks to Glenn Vehar and crew from Sportsmen for Fish & Wildlife for beginning the project and their hard work. Thanks to Select Builders and Steve Landis for completing this project. To finish, we need to build shooting benches and complete the protective wall between the rifle bay and deck. We are trying to be up and running soon. Any help given is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for all your support and look forward to seeing you at the Range.
