To ensure a fun and safe day at the Jackson Hole Gun Range, a few reminders:

Before beginning any activity, please sign in at the range office. The clipboard is located in the target closet on the door.

Please do not fire magnum ammunition or .454 Casull at any of the steel targets in the pistol bay, or .50 caliber at the steel targets on the rifle bay. Doing so damages the targets and makes them unavailable for use.

During non-public hours, please keep gate closed and locked.
News and Information
Well it is July and I am a little late getting the info page updated. There HUGE changes at the Range. We have now renovated the Rifle bay, which includes the basis for a new .22 rimfire and smaller bay. Should have that up and running within the month if all goes to plan. We moved the Shotgun Bay forward and are in process of setting it up. Lots of equipment and details involved. Should be able to start up again by Monday, July 19. We now have two new pistol bays, one for public and one for members, both to be used for events and classes. There is still much work to complete to finish the renovation, but rifle and pistol bays are up and running. Please come see the new Range.

The new gate is still coming. We moved the gate to top of driveway, have concrete pads poured, conduit in. We are waiting on wire and computer to come in to finish the project. As soon as it is complete All members will get their new code to enter and exit. Even though the electrics are not in yet, just having the gate in new location is a big improvement in safety and access.

On July 31 and August 1, We will hold a Tactical Carbine class by Tony Copper. The cost of the course is $300 and approximately 1000 rounds of ammunition for your tactical variant rifle/carbine. The course is a very good course taught by a World Class instructor. There is a minimum of 6 participants required, maximum of 12. Anyone interested needs to provide payment for the class by July 24th. If not enough participants the class will be cancelled and payments refunded. If you decide to withdraw from the class prior to July 28th, all payments will be refunded. However, if withdraw occurs after that date your payment will not be refunded. Please contact Range Master if interested in the class.

IPSC will hold this month's match on Saturday, July 17th. Should be a good one in the new pistol facilities. Please come out to the matches on the third Saturday of the month through October. IDPA is still held the first Tuesday and Fourth Thursdays of every month at 6pm. You do not need to be an expert with a pistol, just a desire to have fun and interact with good people.

4H Rifle and Archery Fair Shoots will happen this month. These are great events and are fun to watch as well. Please check the calendar for time and dates.
